Email Burst News

E-Mail Burst follows the guildlines under the CAN-SPAM (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing) Act of 2003 required by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Here are the provisions of the Act that our site follows:

- E-Mail Burst never gives false or misleading information. The E-Mails' "From," "To," and routing information (including the domain name and e-mail address) is accurate and identifies the person or company who initiated the e-mail.

- E-Mail Burst never displays deceptive subject lines. The subject line of our E-Mails only give the information of the E-Mail itself.

- E-Mail Burst gives recipients an OPT-OUT method. In every E-Mail that is sent from E-Mail Burst, there is an Opt-Out link. If a recipient does not wish to receive future E-Mails from the sender, they simply click that link to be removed. The process of removal is automatic: the recipient does not have to wait for their E-Mail to be removed from the List. This link is permanently active and will never contain an "expiration date".

- E-Mail Burst only sends out E-Mails that are identified as an advertisement and includes the Sender's valid physical postal address. Each E-Mail that E-Mail Burst sends will include the physical address of the sender. This information will be hard-coded into the E-Mail so there is no risk of removal by any party. Every E-Mail sent by E-Mail Burst will identify itself as an advertisement in the body, so that the recipient is never deceived by the contents of the E-Mail.
